Foundation

  • All concrete to be 20 MPa except 30 MPa garage slab, sulphate resistant
  • Basement floor to be 3” thick over 6 mil CGSB poly over 6” crushed rock
  • Garage floor to be 3 ½” thick over 6” compacted gravel with 10m rebar @ 24” o.c.
  • Telepost pads to be 36” square by 6” thick with 10mm rebar 12” o.c both ways
  • Concrete walls to be 8” thick with 2 rows of 10m rebar top and bottom
  • Grade beams to be 8” thick with 2 rows of 15m rebar top and bottom on 12” x12’ and 10”x15’ piles and 4” void form
